But the Bible reminds us to be wise and discerning. Even good people can make mistakes or misunderstand God’s Word. That is why it is so important to grow in truth and learn how to test what we hear.

God has given us His Word as a light to guide us. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says, "Test everything, hold on to what is good."

If you ever feel unsure, ask God for wisdom. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
